I ran across this when searching for images of "Hitler in hell" for the other forum. And it brought up a question, one I asked over there, but shall ask again here since the other may go away.
So here's a photo of the artist, Grosz, working on a famous and well known painting:
Except .. hmmm .. that's odd. The image he's working on, above: Notice anything different (other than the color) from this one, the ONLY other image on the net?
Yeah .. where'd the 98K go to? Hitler's cap? The tower to the upper left? The gibbet to the upper right? Is this even the same painting? What the hell?
